State Appeals Court to close for 8 days to ease deficit: this is pathetic. state doesn't have enough money, so the solution is to shut down the government. nothing new, of course, but nonetheless sad. feel bad for all the poor people who have to take 8 days unpaid leave. even if they wanted to take a vacation, how'd the pay for it?
